Christmas Salon Marketing Checklist

December is about maximising the opportunity. Unlike a few years back it is not uncommon for salons to have availability of appointments right up until Christmas. Black Friday Last Minute Ideas:

Black Friday is all about discounts and picking up bargains. By now most of you will have this already planned. If you have not done any, and, you use late deals:

  • Post deals on Black Friday

If you do not use late deals, you could

  • xx% off all bookings made on Black Friday for appointments before 11/12/16
  • xx% extra on any gift cards bought on Black Friday . Valid for 01/01/16 to 30/11/16
  • Sell Christmas Party Packages or other packages.
  • Black Friday Sale

Run Up to Christmas

To maximise your December bookings always target people that have not booked. You should be planning 1-2 emails or text blasts each week between now and Christmas. Texts at this time of year are key, as timing is critical and they have more of a sense of urgency, so people are more likely to act on them immediately. The run up to Christmas is a mad period for most, lots to do and little time, some people plan way ahead, others are last minute, some do not plan at all.
