We’ve said it before and we’ll keep on saying it… “98% of messages are read with 90% being read within 3 minutes of receiving them” – This statistic proves to be one of the most effective ways of marketing of reaching out to your clients. To give you a helping hand with those gaps you may be seeing in January and February we have put together a couple of client selection ideas you could use throughout January and February.
1. Last visit August – October – no future bookings Go to main menu -> client selections -> Add selection -> New blank -> select the following filters -> last visit adjust dates to 1st August to 31st October -> select no future bookings filter -> click Get client count -> Click save when you are happy with your selections
2. Last visit November – December – no future bookings Go to main menu -> Client selections -> Select Add selection -> New blank -> select the following filters -> last visit adjust dates to 1st November to 31st December -> select no future bookings filter -> click Get client count -> Click save when you are happy with your selections
3. Had beauty service (or select hair service) September – November – no future bookings Go to main menu -> Client selections -> Select add selection -> New blank -> Select the following filters -> Had service -> Select the beauty category (or select the hair category) -> Adjust dates 1st September to 30th November -> select no future bookings filter -> click Get client count -> Click save when you are happy with your selections
4. Had a facial August – November – no future bookings Go to main menu -> Client selections -> Select add selection -> New blank -> Had service -> Select the service you wish to target -> select no future bookings filter -> click Get client count -> Click save when you are happy with your selections
5. Client who last visited 8 weeks ago with no future bookings Go to main menu -> Client selections -> Select add selections -> select clients who last visited 6 weeks ago today and have no future bookings -> Adjust the visit duration to 8 weeks ago today -> click Get client count -> Click save when you are happy with your selections
6. Clients who have visited only once in the last year with no future bookings Go to main menu -> Client selections -> Select add selections -> Select clients who have only visited once in the last year and have not future bookings -> click Get client count -> Click save when you are happy with your selections What should you send them? Really this is down to you and can be anything you choose, below are some examples of texts you could send to your clients. Please feel free to use them as you wish, tweak them if you want to, create your own – it’s up to you!
Top Tip: Include a call to action within the SMS, so your clients know what to do i.e. call, email, pop in etc Remember to also include your salon name, so your clients know who the SMS is from. 160 characters = 1 credit (1 SMS) – Anything over 160 characters will count as 2 credits (2 SMS) and so on.
