Salon-iQ is cloud based salon software, which means it is easy to support and takes most of the headaches associated with older salon systems away. How do I install/update the salon software?
This is taken care for you. Once you have signed up as a user, we will email you a link that will enable you to run the salon software. We will also provide you with instructions on how to create a desktop icon. Provided you have a PC or MAC with internet access you will be able to run Salon-iQ.
Do I need to back the system up?
Your system is running on a databank of high performance WEB servers, which are backed up automatically. Your data is kept safe and secure.
What happens if I lose internet access?
Luckily the internet is now extremely reliable, and broadband outages are infrequent and generally only for a short time. However if you are concerned over this, you can purchase a Vodaphone mobile broadband device, to keep in case of emergency, or if you are in a town centre you may be able to hook onto a local WiFi service.
Am I tied into a long contract if I don’t like the system?
Long contracts are thing of the past, normally found in the small print of some suppliers. We believe in choice. We want you to be delighted with our salon software, if you are not you simply cancel your subscription, and we will provide you with a backup of your data, to help you migrate to another system.
What type of computer do I need?
Salon-iQ runs on any PC (We recommend Windows 7 and Windows 8, with Firefox or Internet Explorer 8 and above) or Mac Computer with Firefox. You can also run the system on an Ipad.
Sometimes website display issues can be fixed with a hard refresh. If this does not resolve the problem, please complete a bug report below.
