Time to Start your Christmas Marketing Efforts

Christmas is fast approaching, your clients will be planning their festive shopping sprees and family gatherings, their Christmas hair and beauty appointments should be in their diaries too.

By now your salon should be at least 70% utilised throughout December.

Now is the perfect time to send out an email reminder to all your clients that have not yet got their Christmas hair and/or beauty bookings in the diary to fill those spaces you have.

In the email include:

  • Your Christmas opening hours. Alternatively include a link in the email that directs your client straight to your website showing a break down of your Christmas and New Year opening hours.
  • How to contact your salon – contact telephone number, email address and a link to book online
  • Links to your social networking platforms

You need to make your email as informative as possible without making it information overload.

Text example 1 – Gentle Reminder – All Clients

“Is your next hair/beauty appointment in your diary? Don’t miss out we still have appointments available for Christmas. Call or book online now 01234 567890”

Text Example 2- Gentle Reminder – All Clients

“Hurry, book now before it’s too late! Our Christmas appointments are going fast. Call or book online now to avoid disappointment. 01234 567890”

Text example 3 – Regular Clients

“Hello Jayne, as a regular client of ours, just wanted to remind  you to book your hair appointment early to secure a time convenient to you. Call or book online now 01234 567890”

Text example 4 – Colour Clients

“Hello Jayne, as a colour client of ours, just wanted to remind  you to book your  appointment early to secure a time convenient to you. Call or book online now 01234 567890”

Email Example 1

Subject: Hurry, it’s not too late!

There are many types of selections you may choose, from selecting your regulars first, targeting  colour clients or lost clients. For example to target all those clients that have been to the salon in the last 6 months but have not yet got an appointment booked in December.In Salon iQ, go to the Main Menu > Communications > Client selections.  You may be surprised at how many have still not got an appointment booked in in December.

To create your email via Salon iQ, go to Main Menu > Communications > Email Manager.
